Formulize Chatroom on IRC

If you would like to chat about Formulize issues live, you can try the #formulize IRC channel on chat.freenode.net:

irc://chat.freenode.net/formulize

You will need an IRC program, such as mIRC, , or Chatzilla for Firefox. There are tons more...if you want to be picky, check out wikipedia's IRC client list.

First, you will have to connect to chat.freenode.net. You can type this command in your IRC program to do that:

/attach chat.freenode.net

Then you will need to join the Formulize "channel". Type this command to do that:

/join #formulize

After that, it should be smooth sailing...type text and it will be seen by the other people in the channel at that time. My name there is jwe-freeform.

There's tons more you can learn and do with IRC, if you care to read about lots of arcane commands that make you appreciate what an important invention the mouse and graphical interface was. ;-)
