Let's open (source) everything

Linus Torvalds, a software engineer famous for the Linux kernel, has said, “The future is open source everything." The future is happening now.

In this column for the Open Source Business Resource, I outline my interest in both open source and the not-for-profit sector: a sense of community. We're open sourcing more than just software. We're collaborating, and building networks and ecosystems, that produce social innovation in the sector, and throughout the world. These are exciting times.

As I mention in my column, we have some ideas about where we're headed, but we know we have much to learn, and to do. We could use your help as we continue to develop our theory of change. Let's engage!
