Displaying a one-to-one form with the "Show to users as a single form?" deselected

Hi Julian,

I am trying to display a form as a one to one relationship but want to display the forms separately since when I try to fill in the form the framework data is not captured automatically, I have to select the data from the drop down list manually. If I unchek the option i am not able to see the subform. It works perfectly for forms with one to many relationships. Any help appreciated.

One to One is not for subforms

Hello,

The one to one type of relationship is meant for situations where you have a series of entries in different forms, that you want to join together in a single unified data set, with one entry from each form making up the data set.

If you display these forms together, they should line up as one giant form.

I don't believe there is as automatic enforcement of the joining relationship in this situation as in one-to-many relationships and the subform interface.

So I'm not certain exactly what you're doing since you mention subform, and one-to-one in your post. Could you provide the background on this situation?
