Public Website for Actua
Actua is a registered charity with over 20 years of success in bringing science, engineering and technology to life for more than 3 million youth across the country. Each year, through our growing network of member organizations (hosted by universities and colleges), and our Outreach Team, we deliver summer camps, school workshops, clubs and community outreach activities to over 225,000 youth in over 450 communities nationwide!
Actua was looking for a system that would allow its staff to update the website content without the need to have a knowledge about website back-end structure or complex languages. The new system was suppose to allow Actua staff to enter not only text but style it and add images to enhance site content.
We've implemented Drupal based Content Management System - amazing open source system that allows the Actua staff to create and manage site content without the need of knowledge of HTML or other programming languages. This new website allows Actua staff to create and update site content, manage site menus, add styling to the text and attach images and documents to the site content.
This new system also allows to translate site content and keep track of pages waiting for translation.
