The guidelines in previous pages are really just 'ballpark' guidelines. Costs can be much lower, or significantly higher depending on what you need. So we normally engage in a 3-phase process to help you determine exactly what you do need.

We have found that this approach minimizes cost and risk, and maximizes choice and flexibility for you, and for us. At the end of each phase you will have real deliverables which empower you to make the best decision for your organization about whether to proceed with the project and with whom:

• Phase 1 is a short, low-cost phase with two aims: to establish project feasibility, and to come up with a ball-park idea of what it will cost
• Phase 2 is slightly longer and the outcome will include a detailed design of what will be implemented with more accurate costs and timelines
• Phase 3 is the actual implementation
